You walk in and at first it seems as a museum. The Eyring center is special though, because not only can you be entertained in it by the classes the facility offers, but also because the many projects and experiments displayed can also keep visitors interested. A big pendulum does not rest, but actually swings right in the center of the large open first room, and it has been for quite some time. If you ever make it past all these distractions and have a reservation you will have the opportunity to partake in the dietary majors gourmet meal project. Walk into the center and there is a tray, glass, and beverage fridge that look awfully similar to any lunchroom. However, the food is your choice as a is a dessert and salad if you would like. If you think the Frescheta in the Wilk is good, you have not had the pleasantry of the Pendulum Court. Every food you eat will please you, and its different everyday!
This Pendulum Court is only open 4 days a week for lunch and is open only in the middle of the semester. It takes a reservation so think ahead and you will be greatly rewarded. I go every Wednesday, maybe I'll see you there!
