Health and Eating Habits

Eating habits are the obvious reason for different health issues all over the world. Not eating enough, eating too much or consuming a minimum amount of nutrients can all have a basic cause of poor eating habits. College and the work place are two examples of an atmosphere that often disrupts a constant intake of 3 "square" meals a day.
At home, I would eat cereal and orange juice for breakfast. Eat the school lunch. Then, eat a prepared dinner with the whole family. Now, I often skip breakfast, eat a large gourmet lunch, then gauge myself at the cannon "all-you-can-eat" center. My schedule is so busy, it allows no time to prepare a good meal or even a chance to decide where to go to eat. The work place, being much similar to the business of college, has employees that often skip meals or eat small "nuked" meals to save some time.
Being at BYU, it's safe to talk about how marriage becomes an issue with health. Many couples complain their spouses let go after the honeymoon is over and health goes out the window. Suddenly, a couple must begin preparing and eating meals together. No matter what each one is used to eating, whoever makes dinner is the decider. There just isn't a lot of room for following a certain diet, each spouse must adapt. Including the raising price of food, it becomes more difficult for newlyweds to eat whatever they want.
There are so many factors that go into eating habits, it is hard to blame health problems solely on its problems. However, we can justify that eating healthy is a deteriorating ideal in our American society. Perhaps we as LDS members could make a it a goal to think twice before stuffing our temples with food with out a recommend.

yeah college definitely makes it hard to eat healthy. I'm even more scared about next year when I have to cook my own food...

Haha way to bring in the body/temple relation. And yeah...I don't have a set eating schedule anymore now that I'm in college. It's just kinda go with the flow, eat whenever kind of deal.
